Founded by William (Bill) Max Dixon, Jr. in 1989, Appalachian Architecture, P.A. has built a solid reputation for architectural design in the High Country. Our small size allows personal attention to each client we serve. As each site, client and building program is different, so are our buildings. Few of our projects look alike, but they all respond to their specific site and context and to the region’s vernacular architecture. We are involved in all aspects of a project—from the initial site selection, building programming and master planning through building design, contractor selection, construction and occupancy. We are “hands-on” architects and enjoy the relationships and particular challenges that construction brings in the High Country. |
